handcrafted porcelain tableware

About

I am a small-batch studio potter based in beautiful Western New York. I work exclusively with porcelain, creating elegant tableware on the potter's wheel or with handmade slab molds. I enjoy experimenting with form and pattern, using divisions of space to emphasize both. My patterns are nature-based and can range from abstract to floral, and my surfaces are illustrated using sgraffito, mishima, and other wax resist methods.

When you choose a handmade object, you have not simply purchased a cup or a bowl. Each piece carries a history, it embodies a thousand tiny decisions: an honest record of an artist’s interaction with the clay. After bringing it home, it can enrich your daily rituals and routines, be a vessel for gathering in celebration, and bring new life to the simple moments that may have otherwise passed us by.
